Aarong Dairy Golapjam is a traditional Bengali dessert, similar to Gulab Jamun, known for its soft, melt-in-the-mouth texture and sweet flavor. Packaged in a 600 gm tin, it's ideal for sharing during festive occasions or enjoying as a delightful treat.
Ingredients: Whole Milk, Chhana (cottage cheese), Sugar, Wheat, Flour, Ghee, Vegetable Oil, Cardamom, Potable Water, BADAMI.
Making Process:
Preparation of Chhana:Boil whole milk and curdle it using an acidic agent to separate the curds from the whey.
Strain the curds through a muslin cloth to obtain chhana.
Kneading:Combine the chhana with wheat flour and ghee, kneading until a smooth, pliable dough forms.
Shaping:Divide the dough into small, smooth balls, ensuring there are no cracks.
Frying:Deep-fry the balls in vegetable oil over medium heat until they turn golden brown.
Soaking in Syrup:Prepare a sugar syrup infused with cardamom.
Immerse the fried balls in the warm syrup, allowing them to soak and absorb the sweetness.
