Halda Haor Rohu Fish (CLEANED-BLOCK) is processed and packaged by MarGEn in European approved processing plant which is located in Sylhet District. These fish mainly harvested from Haor located in the Sunamganj District in Bangladesh. The Rohu fish, scientifically known as Labeo rohita, is a popular freshwater fish in Bangladesh. It has a silver-colored body with a slightly arched head and a distinctive hump on its back. Rohu is prized for its mild and tender flesh, making it a key ingredient in various Bengali dishes, such as curries and bhartas. It’s a staple in Bengali cuisine and is often prepared with traditional spices and flavors.
